Andrea Bufkin

Andrea Bufkin followed her dream of climbing northward from her hometown of Columbia, Mississippi, to the mountains of North Carolina. She counts herself blessed to experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband (most of the time) and to trek along the trails with her dog, Lucy.

Andrea is a massage therapist, which is only gainful employment, not necessarily her calling. She has had the privilege of participating in ministries that support the families of individuals in addiction recovery and is currently exploring Trauma-Informed Massage Therapy.

She enjoys bargain shopping, engaging in healthy debates, and finding a great new book to add to her pile on her nightstand. Her legacy is five amazing kids who keep her on the move.

Mia Burke grew up crisscrossing the US with her family, preparing her for life as a military wife. She is the author of Come Undone, two televised documentaries, and a few sketches, shorts, and articles with potential literary value. She has also written many research papers for her MFA in Communications and BA in English, persuasive marketing copy, and more checks to educational institutions than should be allowed.

She now lives on the Gulf Coast. Her favorite people are:

one husband supporting,

Asha Junot

Asha is an imperfect girl with imperfect faith in the perfectly faithful God, and that has made all the difference. (Pronounced like Tasha without the T, and it comes from India, like her dad. It means hope.

From news reporter and weather girl to wedding filmmaker to children’s ministry coordinator to full-time mama, homemaker, and writer — the thread that ties them all together is story — seeing and celebrating the ordinary and the extraordinary, the magical and the mundane, and finding meaning in the midst of it all. At the end of the day — and the end of all our days — all we really have is hope in our story

Asha’s favorite…

food is chips and queso,

place to be is barefoot in her backyard or on the beach,

and lunch-date order is a chicken salad sandwich with an iced lavender matcha.

Stephanie Williams

Stephanie grew up as a “third culture” kid and has become a “one culture” woman who follows Jesus Christ. The proud daughter of an American dad and German mom, she’s spent her life between Germany and the U.S., soaking in cultures around the world.

She holds degrees in Social Work and Pastoral Studies, along with extensive training in counseling, early childhood development, and biblical studies. Her career has taken her from retail to country music promotions, from running a child development center to serving military families and ministering as a missionary to the U.S. military.

At 46, Stephanie said her only “I do,” becoming a “heart mom” to five, “pup mom” to two, and an “Oma” to seven (and counting!). Living as a “one culture” woman rooted in Christ, she continues to seek out new experiences and the unexpected “good gifts” of God’s grace.
